The History of The Theresian
The Theresian is Little Flower Catholic High School For Girls' student newspaper that dates back to the school's initial opening in 1939. What was once a physical newspaper has since been developed into an e-newspaper that connects thousands of alumnae with current students, teachers, staff, and administrators. The mission of The Theresian is to bring the Little Flower community closer together through informational and creative writing of students. Our staff publishes frequent news updates regarding academics, athletics, and student life events in addition to insightful editorials , short stories, and poetry. Every publication is written and edited almost entirely by student members of the staff. The Theresian staff is strongly devoted to upholding decades of tradition while serving as a reliable news source for our readers.

Co-Editor-in-Chief
Megan LoMastro '23
Megan is one of the founders of The Theresian's online formatting. In her freshman year, she took the initiative to revive the publication after years of absence. Since then, she has served as Co-Editor-in-Chief and main coordinator of writing. In addition to this role, Megan is an officer of the Community Service Corps., Athletes Helping Athletes, a member of the yearbook staff, the National Honor Society, and the tennis team.

Meagan Leary '23
Meagan assisted in The Theresian's revival during her freshman year. Since then, she has served as Co-Editor-in-Chief and main coordinator of formatting. In addition to this role, Meagan is president of the Community Service Corps., an LF ambassador, and a member of the yearbook committee, Athletes Helping Athletes, the National Honor Society, and the soccer, basketball, and softball teams.
Faculty Moderator
Mrs. Felicia Maisey
Mrs. Maisey joined the Little Flower teaching staff in 2022 and enthusiastically took on the role of faculty moderator of The Theresian. She also serves as the main coordinator of editing. In addition to this role, Mrs. Maisey is the English department chair and freshman English teacher.
